There were 14 hardy souls who braved the hills of North Harford for the RASAC N. Harford 10 K.  
The power was out in the area since 1 am and there was no power in the High school.  Those needing to 
use the rest rooms had to use a flashlight provided by the R. D.  Dave Starnes.  

Pre race instuctions were given inside by Dave and once the runners stepped outside, there was very little 
delay in getting the runners started off.  Bernie Gemmill was witnessed running on a slant during the first 
mile as the wind came in from the North and blew the runners all over the course.  
The tempature at the start of the race was  24 degrees.
